A radiation instrument calibration includes the following:

• Measurement readings within an accredited radiation field

• Basic maintenance check:

  • Battery health and battery compartment check

  • Probe and cable check

• Check-source reading

• 1 copy of the Certificate of Calibration

AM Calibration understands that radiation instruments are an important business element to our customers.  We strive for efficiency to limit the downtime our customers have away from critical radiation instruments.

We can often process, calibrate, and ship back instruments same-day for the majority of widely used radiation meters and instruments.

Yes.  AM Calibration can provide repair services on major radiation instrument manufacturers.  We often have common parts on hand for faster repair service turn-arounds.

Before sending, please fill out and submit our radiation Instrument Intake Form.  This will create an intake placement appointment which optimizes our radiation calibration processing times.  A copy of the completed form will deliver to the email address associated with the form.  Print and enclose that form within the instrument shipment.

Instruments can be shipped via traditional shipping carriers (ex. UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) directly to our office.

*NOTE* - USPS typically has longer processing and delivery durations. 

Yes.  We welcome radiation instrument intakes via hand-carry delivery to our office as well as through traditional shipping carriers.
